Peter Maidens has a reputation for being involved with some of Hawke’s Bay’s most important “Onsite & One Off Auctions” so please get in touch if you wish to discuss further. Previous auctions have included The ”Peter Williams” Vintage Car Collection, RSA & Heretaunga Club auctions, The Happy Tav, Stonecroft Estate, Morgan Builders, Hibernian Club, Parkhill Estate, plus numerous liquidation auctions. Not to mention auctioning off a pair of NZ’s important “wartime” paintings by Peter McIntyre.

Peter’s auction career has spanned over 30 years, operating his own auction business at the age of 20 years. Throughout his auction career he has owned and operated a variety of auction rooms, plus working for the famous Bonham’s in London.

Kelvin McKee

Kelvin has been an integral part of the auction industry over the past 10 years, and is now back in the fold at Rata Auctions. He will be your go to for any auction advice on buying and selling at an auction, organising pick ups and general day to day operations of the auction rooms. We are super excited to have Kelvin back, working alongside Pete on the next Auction venture.
