Alan Pearson was a prominent NZ Neo-Expressionist artist known for his vibrant, gestural and emotionally charged works, often featuring portraits , landscapes, and self portraits, working in both New Zealand and London and influencing a generation of artists. Purchased at the City Art Gallery in Christchurch 15 years ago.
