Lot Details
This medal is inscribed to Corp. L.G Sheppard who served with the 2nd Auckland Company of the NZ Garrison Artillery Volunteers during the late 1890s and early 1900s. Eventually attained rank of Battery sergeant Major. His personal military gear and uniform items are significant enough that they are preserved in the permanent collection at the Auckland war museum
